Then join us for a paddle boat race unlike any other! On Sunday, August 17, at the Echo Park Lake, 15 teams of intrepid paddle-boaters will race for the title of World's Best Paddle Boat Racers while simultaneously raising funds for 826LA.

Teams pre-register online, then solicit donations from friends, family, significant others, passers-by on the street, and large corporations—all to secure a better starting position or the right to skip a heat.

No matter how far ahead of the field you start, though, or how many heats you get to skip, winning the Echo Park Lake Paddle Boat Regatta still boils down to nautical acuity and dozens of practice leagues on your home gym stationary paddle boat.
