This workshop takes place at the UCLA Armand Hammer Museum
10899 Wilshire Blvd. (Westwood Blvd. intersection), Westwood, CA 90024

In this workshop, students will learn, literally, how to sell off the Hammer Museum. After taking a tour of the Hammer galleries, the students will find out what makes art click, then learn how to hawk their wares to a radio audience.

JC Jaress is an artist; he paints, photographs, and writes about things often left unspoken. JC enjoys long walks on the beach and candle-lit dinners and talking. A lot. He talks a lot, but it generally works out well because he has a better-than-average understanding about many a thing (he even has a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies to prove it). He is a student and consumer of the Arts, Philosophy and Religion and a practicing Buddhist, which only means that, fortunately, he hasn't "graduated" yet. He is a dog person and lives in verdant Altadena amongst the San Gabriel Mountains, high above the rabble and ruckus of downtown Los Angeles. JC comes down from those majestic peaks occasionally for supplies, to tell a good story, and, every other Thursday, for a pedicure and calf massage.
