826LA, in partnership with Christine Ko and Owen Whang, invites you to an afternoon of imagination, inspiration, and ice cream at the Time Travel Mart in Mar Vista! Join us for Sweet Stories & Sundaes, a summer celebration of their delightful children’s book, Sound Switch Wonder.

Bring your sweet tooth and your curiosity, guests will enjoy a build-your-own ice cream sundae station hosted by the amazing Handel’s Ice Cream, a live reading, Q&A with Christine and Owen, and a book signing inside the quirkiest shop in LA.

This joyful gathering is also a fundraiser to support 826LA’s free creative writing programs for Los Angeles youth. All proceeds go directly toward amplifying student voices and stories.
