Get writing support on your college application essays from trained tutors and be one step closer to your future!

The goal of this event is to support students with their college application essays — from brainstorming and outlining, to polishing final drafts!

Q: Will food be provided?

A: Yes! Breakfast and lunch will be provided, as well as water, coffee, and snacks.

Q: Do I need to attend the entire time?

A: We highly encourage all students to make the time to attend the event from 9am-3pm to get the most support. If you are only able to attend a portion of it, we still want to support you!

Q: Do I need to already have drafts?

A: No! This event is open to all 11th and 12th grade students. We will support you at any stage in the writing process, including getting started.

Q: Do I need to bring anything?

A: Bring any drafts, outlines, or writing that you have. 826LA will provide laptops, paper, and pencils to all students who need them.
